Our Yurts are offered for holiday purposes on a weekly (Friday to Friday or Monday to Monday), or weekend basis (Friday to Monday), unless otherwise stated on a self-catering basis subject to the following hiring Terms and Conditions.
On receipt of the balance payment, the Yurt will be made available to you from 4pm on the date of arrival (or at the time and date agreed in advance) and the tenant (hirer) and their families and/or guests are required vacate it by l0.00 am on the departure date stated.
Furnishings, Linen etc:
Each property is furnished and equipped to cater for the stated or permitted occupancy and includes all facilities and major items of domestic equipment. For each Yurt five items specific to cutlery and eating utensils will be provided. Bedding (pillows , sheets, duvets and covers) are provided. Booking your Holiday:
To book a stay in the Yurt, prospective guests should use the online booking system, telephone number or e-mail address to check availability. Any balance payable must be made no later than 4 weeks prior to commencement of the holiday to guarantee the booking. If you are booking within four weeks of the start of your holiday, payment is required in full with the booking form. Directions and details are issued on receipt of booking. No VAT is applicable.
If for whatever reason the Yurt cannot be made available for the period booked due to events beyond the owner’s control and the owner is forced to cancel the booking, the whole of the hire charge will be refunded and the hirer will have no further claim against the owners.
Where possible the owners will try to make alternate arrangements for the hirers stay, but any subsequent assistance given to find alternative accommodation will be entirely at the hirer’s discretion.
Please note that, once a booking has been confirmed, the hirer is liable for the whole cost of the holiday. Cancellation and curtailment protection insurance is, therefore, advised.
Cancellation 4 full weeks prior to commencement of holiday – customer liable for loss of non-refundable deposit.
Cancellation within 4 weeks of your holiday – customer liable for full cost of holiday
In both cases we will endeavor to re-let the Yurt(s), and if successful, we will refund the amount recouped, less the initial non-refundable deposit. Further more we will also try to offer a rearrangement for another time and transfer over deposit payment. Accordingly, it is important that cancellations are intimated to us via e-mail asap.
Pets are allowed to stay with prior arrangement.
Our booking system is able to retain the ability to have a damages deposit on hold with the card used to book. The amount of £100 is not taken from the card unless its is required at a later date. This payment would be to make good any damage or loss to the property or excessive cleaning found necessary following the period of occupation concerned. Any extra expense needed to make good any damages will be charged directly to the hirer.
